Desolation Angel Radio took to the airwaves on Tuesday night with a show recorded on Sunday and took an up close look at 3 of the best, if not the the 3 best albums so far this year in 2013. All 3 are game changers, and all 3 combine all the elements that make up the DNA of American music and bring it real. One combines almost every disparate element of rock, country, Americana, bluegrass and gospel; another is an intimate, emotional songwriter's album done musically and with an ear to the sonic and aural space, to perfection and the third fulfills the promise that started so long ago when Gram Parsons and Keith Richards struck up a friendship and started exploring what happens when you combine rock and country:
