The Thursday night service at the high church of rock and roll, where the gospel of the Desolation Angel was delivered brought another extended show, and this one made a point. Two halves, two hours, two completely different styles of music that melded together perfectly. A full hour of '70's rock and roll icons, all live and all off the board, at the peak of their powers, and a full hour of the passionate, raw, close to the bone, down in the blood musicians who deliver without being recognized that are our normal forte here, and it smoked:
Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll
The Rolling Stones - Just My Imagination
Metallica and Lou Reed - Sweet Jane
The Who - Baba O'Riley
The Kinks - You Really Got Me
AC/DC - Highway To Hell
Queen - Tie Your Mother Down
